Nell’ambito di INSERTO, il programma curato dall’Archivio Gribaudo che esplora il dialogo discorsivo e visivo tra l’eredità di Ezio Gribaudo e artisti, scrittori, poeti, editori e grafici contemporanei, l’Archivio Gribaudo è lieto di invitare Davide La Montagna. Il suo progetto Things Unsaid, Then Forgotten si articola intorno a una serie storica Fiori (1970) dei suoi Logogrifi, rilievi su carta che trattano di forze razionali e organiche tra il linguaggio e i fiori.

Things Unsaid, Then Forgotten (2025) è un’installazione site specific che comprende fiori secchi installati in libri e sparsi per l’Archivio Gribaudo. Rose, gelsomini, tulipani e garofani sono i fiori che hanno dato il nome alle rivoluzioni. Ogni fiore incarna sia un linguaggio segreto che la dualità di amore e violenza. Un ossimoro.

Nel frattempo, una selezione curata di poesie/testi scritti da Antonia Rebekka Truninger, Allison Grimaldi Donahue e Jackie Wang sarà letta da Davide La Montagna, come risposta diretta ai fiori nascosti nell’Archivio Gribaudo

As part of INSERTO, the programme curated by the Archivio Gribaudo that explores the discursive and visual dialogue between Ezio Gribaudo’s legacy and contemporary artists, writers, poets, editors and graphic designers, the Archivio Gribaudo is pleased to invite Davide La Montagna. His project Things Unsaid, Then Forgotten explores a historical series of Ezio Gribaudo’s reliefs on paper (Fiori,1970) that deal with rational and organic forces between language and flowers.

Things Unsaid, Then Forgotten (2025) is a site-specific installation comprising dried flowers installed in books and scattered around the Gribaudo Archive. Roses, jasmine, tulips and carnations are the flowers that gave their names to revolutions. Each flower embodies both a secret language than the duality of love and violence. An oxymoron.

In the meantime, a curated selection of poems/text written by Antonia Rebekka Truninger, Allison Grimaldi Donahue & Jackie Wang will be read by me, as a direct response to the flowers hidden within the Archivio Gribaudo.
